Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan
The tired pilgrims reach the Delectable Mountains where they encounter four shepherds, Knowledge, Experience, Watchful, and Sincere, who resemble faithful pastors imparting wisdom to their flocks. During their time with these four shepherds, Christian and Hopeful are instructed and given timely cautions for the rest of their journey.
