Welcome to Give Attendance to Reading, with Max and Charlie Taylor. This podcast was born out of our love for reading and discussing theology and Christian ministry, and it has grown to include topics such as culture, geo-politics, and practical Christian living. Our goal is to cover the best books in Christian literature, one chapter at a time. By listening in each week, not only will you hear a summary of each book, but you will also get commentary on the topics discussed along with our take on how to apply the information to our everyday lives. Thanks for listening, let’s get into it!

What an important note to end this epistle of 1 John on. We all have the tendency to put other things in the place of God—especially ourselves. It is important that we take a serious look at ourselves, at the idols that tempt us, and at our Lord Jesus Christ. With that, we finish this great devotional work by D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones. After we take a couple weeks off, we will be back to jump into our next book, Pilgrim’s Progress. Click the link above to order a copy if you want to read along!
Next time we will be starting our new book, Pilgrim’s Progress.
