Life in Christ by D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones
Assurance of salvation is not only something that is possible for every believer, it is what God intends for us. This is one of John’s great themes throughout this epistle, and he reiterates it here in 1 John 5:13, one of the most well-known verses on assurance. In this episode, we discuss the topic of assurance in general, break down this verse phrase-by-phrase, and offer some personal thoughts and reflections on eternal security and assurance.
