Life in Christ by D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones
We all see the dwindling numbers at church and the statistics paint a bleak picture for the church’s future, so what are we to do? Some say it is time to set aside nonessential differences and band together to fight the enemy, but D. Martyn Lloyd Jones preaches a different premise from this passage in 1 John. As we discuss in today’s episode, the guiding principles of the church today should be knowing and trusting God’s Word, maintaining doctrinal purity, and seeing our place in the plan of God for this present age.
