Life in Christ by D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones
How does God’s holiness fit with the main theme of first John—joy? It all goes back to our fellowship with God, which we cannot know fully without understanding God’s holiness and pursuing holiness in our own lives. This conversation touches on the fact that preaching should start with God and not man’s perceived needs, the importance of education in and submission to the Word of God, the shortcomings of human philosophy and man’s reasoning, the overemphasis and mis-definition of love in our society today, and more. We are glad you have chosen to join in the discussion!
